Booking with Global Luxury Suites at the Revel Apartments in Washington, DC was, at first, a strategic decision—aimed at avoiding the unpredictability of overbooked hotels while gaining access to premium amenities and the comfort of a spacious apartment. Our arrival was late in the evening, but the self-check-in process was seamless. Clear, step-by-step instructions made accessing both the building and the unit straightforward—an essential feature in a property that does not offer a traditional front desk experience. The apartment itself was spacious and well-appointed, offering ample room to unwind after a full day of sightseeing. The bathroom was notably large, contributing to the overall sense of comfort. However, our nights were consistently disrupted by the sound of water running loudly through nearby pipes—a persistent noise that woke me up every single night. This surprising flaw detracted from the restful experience one expects from a luxury stay. One of our main reasons for selecting this property was its advertised pool access, a feature we were looking forward to after long days exploring the capital. Unfortunately, the access code we were provided never worked. Repeated attempts to resolve the issue through the online chat, phone support, and even email proved fruitless—responses were either unhelpful or frustratingly circular. It wasn’t until we visited the on-site customer service office on the third floor that we finally received assistance. The representative there was courteous, responsive, and escorted us personally to the pool. Unfortunately, by then, the weather had turned, and the sunny days when we most wanted to use the pool had passed. Considering that access to the pool was a key factor in choosing this property—and something we were clearly paying for—being unable to access for four of our six days felt like a significant loss of value.

Excellent stay. Location was an easy walking distance the Union Station (has access for the DC Circulator routes as well!). I liked the neighborhood vibe and local restaurants. The room was was perfect, spacious and clean. Rooftop was amazing! Pool with lifeguard, grills, dog walk, comfortable lounging, and views of the capitol building. After booking, I read the bad reviews on Google and was nervous. The three main complaints from people were the check in process, the beds, and issue with fees after they left. I was proactive the day before check-in to make sure I had the invite to latch. The instructions said I would have it no later than 24hrs before check in. I did not get it so reached out to support the evening before via text. They said it would come the morning of check in. I did receive it mid morning ( after reaching out to support again...) Then had no issues. Once in the parking garage, the elevator took us very close to the room for easy unloading and loading. I also took a video tour of the place on arrival and leaving in case any funny business with extra fees came up, however had no issue. The beds were decent. Overall, great stay! Better than a hotel room IMO. There was a grocery store a block to two away for any needs. The room came with everything needed including laundry detergent and dishwasher pods and kitchen dishes and cooking supplies.

We were a little concerned after we booked that the accommodation has some bad reviews (less on booking.com and more on other sites). However, our expectations were well exceeded - we did not have any problems and the accommodation was excellent. The facilities in the building were also superb - I wish I had access to a gym of that caliber all of the time. I should flag that some people have difficulty with the access codes. Both the doors to the building and the elevator use the building code, and the room itself uses the room code. The circular pads you enter the codes into are high-tech in appearance and are very sensitive - it is easy to mistype the code if you are rushing. I suspect that this is responsible for some of the bad reviews re difficulty accessing the accommodation.

Spick and span✨Condiments and supplies tied up like a gift!Location serene,a walking distance to the Capital, White House and the Washington monument further on..we just discovered there was a Safeway store next building.Eateries-Thai and India round the corner. They accepted to keep for us our bags on both check in and check out days!Pattrice very friendly staff-God bless Him from Cameroon 🇨🇲! The beds pillows and beddings very fresh and bouncy. Oh! We loved it!😍 All the equipment new and classy.I never got to open any door! My young son did it with the excitement of technology keyless entry! This is a gold mine.

Apartment was just as described, bed was comfy, the sofa and chair were surprisingly comfortable. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Apartment was quiet and well equipped. Only real negative was the duvet was smaller than the duvet cover which would have been a problem if the weather was colder. Key code entry works well and there’s a super market 5mins walk up the road with a really a great little bar (Teds Bulletin), which serves food, almost next door. 10 mins walk to union street station, 25 mins walk to the us capitol building
